Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How many dogs do you take on each hike?
A: We take anywhere from 5-8 dogs on each hike
Q: Does my dog need to have great recall to go on hikes:
A: No, most pups will naturally stick with the pack, and all new pups wear our trackers
Q: How do you transport the dogs?
A: They are free in the back of the car. We also have crates and a front seat separated with a metal barrier for dogs that prefer their own space.
Q: Is your catchment area strict?
A: No, we cover all of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody
Q: Do you do hikes 7 days a week?
A: No, we only provide hikes Monday-Friday (excluding stat holidays)
Q: Does my dog need to be spayed/neutered to join hikes?
A: If they are a male dog, yes. Due to hormones, it can create an unsafe environment for both your pup and the rest of the pack
Q: What time is pick up for the hikes?
A: Pick up for the morning hike is around 7:30-8:30am depending on your location.
Pick up for the mid day hike can vary quite a bit but is usually around 10:45am-12:30pm
Q: Do the owners need to be home for pick up?
A: Usually no, but if it's their first hike with us we prefer the owners to be home so the pup knows it's ok to go with us
Q: Do you provide 1 on 1 dog walks or boarding?
A: Unfortunately no, but we usually refer clients to The Dog Patch or Good Dog
